Rule 27
Ignore S.J. Gilman, when she says that The Rules are anti-feminist and are about “trading your hymen for a diamond”. Those who complain about The Rules are sorely mistaken. They are an easy recipe for personal and corporate self-defense on the order of the Art of War and The Rules of Power. Never stop doing The Rules. You don't have to let your friends know that you're visiting the jobfairy.com site every week and following the articles faithfully. You would probably scare and appall them if they knew that you'd been studying the Art of War, too. Women aren't supposed to be interested in things like combat and conflict. They're not supposed to ever get angry or fight back when things go wrong. But just because no one declared a war or identified the area that you're in as a combat zone doesn't mean it isn't one. All life is about conflict and competition. You can and should defend yourself. You deserve to. The Rules help you do so, as does all of the other information on the jobfairy.com site. It’s there to help you. Read it every week. Read and re-read the site over and over again. Each time, you'll find something that speaks to you and your current situation or past experience. Let the results speak for themselves. Don't tell your friends or family about jobfairy.com unless you know in advance they're going to be supportive. Let it be your secret weapon. You have control; you can stop the heartburn NOW.
